Carmen Mansilla

(born 1962)

.

Carmen Mansilla is a contemporary figurative artist from Madrid. She has a degree in Information Sciences and a broad artistic background, including studies in design and illustration, a degree in fine arts and participation in various courses and workshops, with important artists such as Dino Valls.

She has presented her work in individual and group exhibitions in Spain, Italy, the United States, Germany, France and Scotland. 

Her latest painting explores more intimate and emotional aspects. It is honest and direct, with a freer brush stroke, suggestive atmospheres, hints of mythology and with the female figure in the fullness of youthful beauty as an omnipresent element.
